MAINTENANCE

We depend on our cars every day. They transport us to work and school, to our children's sports events, music lessons, shopping, that long awaited vacation spot, to the hospital to welcome the newest addition to the family and so many other important activities too numerous to mention. We expect our cars to get us there and never let us down.

Although some problems still may come, preventive maintenance is your car's best friend. Simple things that you do now can add years to the life of your car and help you avoid more costly repairs in the future.

      TUNING & BRAKES

Spark plugs are usually replaced between 30,000 and 100,000 miles. The change interval depends on the type of spark plug and the type of car. A car in need of a tune-up will have decreased performance as well as greater fuel consumption. Keep your car running like a top. Schedule your tune-up with us today!

Brakes are something we often take for granted until they don't work. If your brakes are making strange noises, not stopping your car as well as they used to, or your brake pedal seems to feel different, come by and let us check the condition of your brake system!

      OIL CHANGE SERVICE

Engine oil is the life blood of your car. Some manufacturers recommend changing the engine oil every 3,000 miles and others recommend around 5,000 miles. Check the owner's manual for the proper oil change schedule for your car.

We offer a full service oil change including:

- Oil, filter & lube

- Top off fluids

- Check lights

- Check PCV valve

- Check air filter & element

- Check engine belts & hoses

- Check tire pressure

- Check brake pads & rotors

      TIRES & SUSPENSION

Steering and suspension should be checked at least yearly. Have this checked sooner if you notice the tires have uneven wear, your car squeals, vibrates, bounces or shimmies.

It is ideal to check the condition of your tires monthly. The correct tire pressure for your car is found either on a decal in your car's door jamb or in the owner's manual. The pressure indicated on the tire is NOT the correct pressure to use.

Running with incorrectly inflated tires can increase fuel consumption.

Let us keep your ride in shape for smooth miles ahead!
